Restricted Access
The wharf operational zones at the Port of Derby are restricted by two security gates and only permitted personnel and port users will be granted access.
Safety Induction
KPA employees, port users and contractors working on KPA premises are required to complete an induction prior to accessing the wharf operational zones at the Port of Derby. Only people with a verified operational requirement and who have completed the safety induction may access operational zones.
A KPA induction must be completed every two years or if an authorised KPA employee determines you require further training following a breach of KPA’s OHS policy.

Visitor Access
Visitors are excluded from the safety induction requirement, however, visitors wishing to access wharf operational zones at the Port of Derby must be escorted at all times by an authorised KPA personnel and must have completed a Wharf Visitor Access Form.
